Brean Down
Brean Down
Bean Dawn. The end of the land. We often came here for hikes, because it was close and the calmness and naturalness were fantastic, and like everywhere else in England, history is also present here from prehistoric times to World War II. A natural peninsula that protected the Bristol Channel. It is now a great place to go, with a long sandy beach on one side and Weston Super Mare pier on the other. Unfortunately, this part of the coast is mostly not suitable for swimming, because the soil is very clayey. But at high tide, the water level rises enough to be able to dip in it. And the view is absolutely spectacular. So this is also a must see place.
We hope you enjoyed this tour. Thank you for your time.
See you again on another adventurous trip.
